Please read these terms carefully before using our services

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Green Hills Hotel & Resort website and all services offered by Green Hills at its Lamka and Khuanggin campuses. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act, 1872, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. About Green Hills

Green Hills Hotel & Resort is a hospitality and community enterprise operated by Liana Nunthuk (Proprietor) at Mata Mualtam, NH-102B, Lamka, Manipur – 795128, and at Sinzawl (Near Khuanggin), NH-102B, Manipur, India.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting our website, making a booking enquiry, using our facilities, or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

3. Bookings & Reservations

3.1 Enquiries

All bookings begin as enquiries submitted via our website contact form, WhatsApp, or telephone. An enquiry does not constitute a confirmed reservation until acknowledged by Green Hills in writing (WhatsApp, SMS, or email).

3.2 Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation message from Green Hills and, where applicable, payment of a deposit. Green Hills reserves the right to decline any reservation at its sole discretion.

3.3 Check-in / Check-out

  • Standard check-in time: 12:00 PM (noon)
  • Standard check-out time: 11:00 AM
  • Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may attract additional charges
  • Valid government-issued photo ID is mandatory for all guests at check-in (as required under the Hotel and Restaurants Act and local police regulations)

4. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices displayed are in Indian Rupees (₹) and inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice
  • Green Hills accepts cash and UPI payments. Credit/debit card acceptance subject to availability
  • Prices for facilities (pool, turf, boat rides, play park) are per the published rate card and may be revised seasonally

5. Guest Conduct & Rules

5.1 General

  • Guests are expected to behave in a respectful, lawful, and considerate manner at all times
  • Consumption of alcohol is subject to applicable Manipur state excise laws
  • Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas and near children's facilities
  • Outside food and beverages may be brought to picnic spots subject to applicable charges
  • Pets are not permitted on the premises unless specifically approved in advance

5.2 Swimming Pool

  • Swimming at your own risk. Green Hills provides lifeguard supervision during operating hours but cannot guarantee constant supervision
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times
  • Guests with medical conditions are advised to seek medical advice before using the pool
  • Proper swimwear is mandatory

5.3 Boat Rides

  • Boat rides are operated by trained staff and governed by the Inland Vessel Act, 2021
  • Life jackets must be worn at all times during boat rides
  • Maximum capacity per trip as instructed by the boat operator must not be exceeded
  • Guests with swimming disabilities, heart conditions, or pregnancy should consult staff before boarding
  • Green Hills shall not be liable for accidents resulting from guest non-compliance with safety instructions

5.4 Children's Play Park

  • Children use play equipment at their own risk and under parental/guardian supervision
  • Age and weight restrictions on individual equipment must be observed
  • Green Hills maintains equipment to reasonable safety standards but cannot be held liable for injuries resulting from misuse

5.5 Futsal Turf

  • Appropriate sports footwear must be worn on the turf at all times
  • Bookings are for the duration specified only. Overtime will be charged at the applicable rate
  • Green Hills is not liable for sports injuries sustained on the turf

6. Damage & Liability

Guests will be held financially responsible for any damage to Green Hills property, equipment, or facilities caused by negligence, misuse, or willful misconduct. The cost of repair or replacement will be charged to the guest.

Green Hills shall not be liable for loss of or damage to guest property, including vehicles parked on the premises, except where such loss is attributable to gross negligence of Green Hills staff.

7. Photography & Videography

Guests may take photographs and videos for personal use. Commercial photography, filming, or content creation for monetised platforms requires prior written permission from Green Hills management.

Green Hills reserves the right to use photographs taken by staff at events for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform staff at the time of your visit.

8. Events & Auditorium

  • Event bookings require a signed agreement and deposit as specified at the time of booking
  • The organiser is responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions and licenses for events, including music performance licenses under the Copyright Act, 1957
  • Green Hills shall not be liable for cancellation of events due to circumstances beyond its control (force majeure)
  • Maximum capacity limits must be observed for safety and compliance

9. Food & Beverage

Green Hills operates food services under FSSAI License No. 11623004000016. All food prepared on-premises complies with the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. Guests with food allergies or dietary requirements must inform staff in advance. Green Hills cannot guarantee allergen-free environments.

10. Force Majeure

Green Hills shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest, government orders, floods, epidemics, or road blockages on NH-102B.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, photographs, logos, and design, is the intellectual property of Green Hills Hotel & Resort. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without prior written consent is prohibited.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall first be attempted to be resolved through mutual discussion. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Lamka (Churachandpur), Manipur, India.

Consumers also have the right to approach the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13. Amendments

Green Hills reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be published on this website. Continued use of our services after amendments constitutes acceptance.
